As part of CHANNELLED, we present CHANNELLED: CYPRUS — Women Artists of the Island. This chapter turns to the island’s contemporary art scene, bringing together nine women artists from different generations and cultural backgrounds. Through painting, sculpture, textile and other practices, the exhibition explores Cyprus through personal stories, memory, identity and belonging.
On the first floor, the exhibition continues with PICTORIAL EXCERPTS, a vdialogue between Daphne Christoforou and her mother, Julia Astreou-Christoforou. Their works explore mythology, family memory and cultural inheritance, offering an intimate perspective on the island through two generations of women.
