On the first floor, the exhibition continues with PICTORIAL EXCERPTS. Bringing together Daphne Christoforou and her mother, Julia Astreou-Christoforou, this presentation explores family, memory and cultural inheritance through two generations and two distinct artistic languages.
Daphne’s practice engages with mythology, symbolism, the body and personal experience. Julia’s works introduce another layer of visual memory and the island’s cultural heritage. Together, they create a dialogue between past and present, personal history and cultural memory.
From the diverse voices on the ground floor to this conversation across generations upstairs, visitors are invited to discover Cyprus through the lives, memories and imaginations of its women artists.
